How do I list my business on Ocala Local Spotlight, what does it cost, and how often are new listings added?
Adding your business is simple! Click the 'Get Featured' button at the top right of our homepage and submit the 'Apply to be Featured' form. Someone from our team will reach out, via email, soon. There is no cost to be featured. Our team is constantly discovering new shops, restaurants, and service providers to ensure residents always have access to the latest and greatest local businesses the community has to offer. We update the directory on a weekly basis, so your business will be showcased to the Ocala community in no time once approved!
What areas do you cover in the Ocala Local Spotlight directory?
Our directory primarily focuses on locally-owned businesses within Ocala and the greater Marion County area. This includes downtown Ocala, Silver Springs, Belleview, and Dunnellon. We strive to connect residents with the best local shops, restaurants, and service providers right in our own community.
Do I need to create an account to use the Ocala Local Spotlight directory?
No account is required to browse and discover local businesses! Ocala residents and visitors can freely search our directory, access business contact information, and read about local shops and services without signing up. However, subscribing to our free newsletter is a great way to stay informed about newly featured spots in the community.
Are franchise businesses included in the Ocala Local Spotlight directory, or is it strictly for independent local businesses?
Ocala Local Spotlight is dedicated to celebrating the unique character of our community. Because of this, we focus exclusively on independently owned and operated businesses based in the Ocala and Marion County area. We do not currently feature large national chains or corporate franchises, ensuring that your support goes directly to our local entrepreneurs and neighbors.
